Postal Code Checker ("the App") is a Shopify app that lets a store check whether it delivers to a customer's postal code/zip code before checkout. This policy explains exactly what data the App collects, why, and how it's handled.
When you install the App, we receive and store only:
your-store.myshopify.com)The App does not request, read, or store your products, orders, customers, or any other store data. It has no access scopes beyond what's needed to identify your store.
The delivery postal codes/areas you add through the App's Postal Codes screen are stored so your storefront widget can check against them. This data is your own store's business configuration — not customer or order data — and is never shared with, or visible to, any other store using the App.
The storefront widget your customers use only ever sends a postal code/zip value to check — no name, address, email, or other personal information is collected, transmitted, or stored by the App at any point.
If you uninstall the App, your store's access is revoked immediately. In line with Shopify's data protection requirements, we permanently delete your store's stored data (domain, name, access credentials, and postal code list) shortly after uninstallation.
We do not sell, rent, or share your store's data with any third party. The only external service the App communicates with is Shopify's own API, as part of normal app operation.
